Tiverton Bowling Club was founded in 1902 and is the oldest club in Tiverton today. The bowling green was initially only two rinks but gradually increased in size over the years up until 1974 when it became six rinks as it is today. image1 In 1977 the present pavilion was built and was opened on Saturday 6th August 1977 by Mr J.H Northcott, President of the Devon County Bowling Association. The clubhouse has a fully licensed bar and comfortable seating area. There are also many comfortable vantage points to enjoy watching the games in progress on the green.

The club welcomes both associate and bowling members so whether you’re looking for a friendly, social game or a competitive fixture we can provide the appropriate fixture! As well as the frequent friendly fixtures image3the club currently runs seventeen competitions during the season. These are open to all club members and range from exclusive Men’s and Ladies competitions to open tournaments and all day events where members are joined by teams from other local clubs in the area. Also our members are able to enter all county competitions through the club. If you would like any further details please get in touch with us. Coaching is also available for those that feel they would benefit from this.

The club has a thriving social committee that organises events throughout the season and beyond. These include Hot Cross Bun morning, Bingos, fun days and themed events like the Mr & Mrs day. image2 All these events are simply fun events held in a relaxed atmosphere and can be perfect for new members to come along to and get to know the clubs members before joining. If interested please just use the contact page to enquire about when the next event is on so you can come along.
